I Ordered A Broken Nintendo 64 for $20 with two games without controllers + Super Nintendo as a gift. The Nintendo 64 was released on June 23, 1996, in Japan
In this video I will restore the Nintendo 64 back to work again, the console doesn't show any sound or picture at all.
The Nintendo 64 is a system that generally doesn't have a lot of issues since it doesn't have any moving parts inside, but they still pop up broken on eBay. Today I wanted to take a look at one that was listed as broken, but it turned out to be the easiest fix for me so far.
To disassemble the device, a special screwdriver is needed, because Nintendo puts safety screws that need a special screwdriver. Such screws can be found in many Nintendo consoles.
The N64 has a ton of different types of screws so it's especially important to make sure I know where they go once I'm putting it back together.
When I tried the device, it turned on and the power led lit up, this is a good sign in most old devices. This is the reason for the presence of dust between some of the connecting pins under the game port which could affect the console.

That console is the very first one I tried playing games on! It brings back so many fond memories of Ocarina of Time or Mortal Kombat with my brother. I couldn't be more joyful to see a Nintendo 64 restored back to its original glory!

Yes the best game is Donkey kong 64. The best Donkey kong game of All time from Rare and Nintendo the first and last country game in 3D and this game is the 4th Donkey kong game in the game Serie and my absolutely Favorite with King K Rool final boss fight in the punch Ring it's so cool and Nostalgia i miss the good old time 🎮👍😭✝️

Nice job cleaning it, but when he first tries out the console the AV RCA cables are not connected, therefore the console is not going to work. After he cleans it, he uses the cables so it works. Good job cleaning it, but the console probably worked before he cleaned it.

Восстановление и ремонт. "Мое почтение конечно такому ремонту!"))) Помыл корпус, помыл плату. Ремонт блиииин наверное на 1млрд вышел!))) Сперва кисточкой, потом щёткой. Сперва подул, потом промыл кисточкой. Я ещё в начале орнул когда гениальная идея была подуть в картридж, при этом консоль грязная, стоило в консоль подуть))) Ну и черт с ним. Привел в человеческий вид консоль и то хорошо, разве что видео стоило назвать чистка консоли, а не ремонт и восстановление! Ну что ещё написать...хорошо помыл!!!

because the work he's doing may look easy, but it's not. for a first timer, it's a lot of pieces to take apart and wouldn't be all that easy to take apart, let alone also getting them back together. and i figure most would just go 'oh it stopped working, best get a NEW one instead'.

@@Lregofins34 kind of. A lot of times when you put stuff in storage, it collects dust. Dust attracts moisture. And when this happens, the device begins to rust and get gross and dirty. Some people do not take care of their things because they don’t care. Or they don’t have the context or knowledge to clean something.

It could be a rotted trace, at least that's a common issue we have in the Original Xbox community. Otherwise I had that happen after just cleaning my N64 games, possibly from residual isopropyl alcohol on the pins, or maybe a loose pinboard in the N64.

No es restauración ni reparación, la consola simplemente estaba sucia y había que limpiarla nada más, yo también limpio mis consolas asi y no hago videos clickbait, por el título del video pensé que la consola no andaba y la iba a reparar cambiandole partes rotas por partes que funcionen, pero esto es sólo limpieza de consola, vaya clickbait que me comí 🥵

Do you do repairs for viewers sir? Mine is NOWHERE NEAR this level of damage, but it is showing age from the 90s If I leave it unplayed for a few months, then try to dust it off, my console has a huge problem with resetting itself after dusting it off. All my games are pretty old too, but as long as I don't have them in the slot all the way, they do function. I just need someone to look at my console, and see if it's a problem with my N64, my power supply, or if my cartridge slot is the culprit. I love going back to n64 but these issues frustrated me. Also can they look at my controllers? I'd love someone to restore it to factory condition if possible I can even send my game collection for you to look at. Do you have a website for that stuff?

There’s an lot of caked on mud on that N64 system…? So this isn’t faked..it looks like it was left outside too long and fell in an patch of mud, or was picked out of an house that got damaged by a mudslide in wherever in Asia this unit was shipped from…
