Having looked at your shop, the single biggest problem most of us have going to charity shops is they are either full of low end crap or the type of items you pick up which have a margin are simply priced sky high to the point that the profit has been killed by chazza's researching solds and whacking the prices up. Where you live in the south of England I'm led to believe that the chazzas there are priced through the roof so can only conclude that where you source from is some kind of unicorn chazza. Many of us are aware of the valuable brands but simply dont have access to them at prices that can be worked with.

Thanks for taking the train me to watch and comment, I do appreciate it. I do agree charity shops are getting more expensive, I spend 4-6 hours a day searching for items to resell. It’s definitely not easy, I also look at Vinted and pay up for good items, I’m looking forward to Boot sales opening again. Have a great week, Simon

To consistently find the items you find here I'd need to go into Edinburgh where the charity shop prices are insane. I remember going into the posh area called Morningside and easily about 8 years ago they were wanting £15 for a Superdry hoodie so that's what you are up against. The bootsale scene up here is crap by comparison with the south of England so wholesale options are my main squeeze. Even round here they might want £7-£9 for a Nike hoodie that could realistically only achieve £20 all in so the margin simply is nowhere good enough after fees, COG and shipping.

Im trying to build up stock this year as much as possible to try get to £300-500 mark a week if possible,how long did it take you to get to your stock level? My real job is my own business spraying kitchens in situ (i spray loads of kitchens from your company 😃)

Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment, I think it took about a year to get to a level of stock I was happy with. That was around 1500 items in my store. I now think a smaller store with better quality is more important than how many are in the store. We are both in the Kitchen game to some degree. Hope you have a great weekend Simon

In regards to offers, I am a firm believer of some of the money all of the time, I usually accept most offers that come in as long as it’s still profitable.
