Gotta love a good reset vlog!! Needed to get myself & my life reorganized before I leave again lol! Post-trip laundry, cleaning & swapping out my closets for all my fall jackets/shoes/accessories! What things do YOU do when you want to get your ish together?!

A great way to tackle donations is to have a laundry bin, basket or drawer in each closet space. This way when you try on somthing and it doesn't fit right, you no longer love it, it has a stains you name it. It goes directly in to the donations pile and so the clothes don't end up back in the closet, on the ground or in the laundry. So three, six months from now you don't have to guess what fits, what you like on your self there is already a pile ready to go.

1 little tip as far as the mirror on the inside of your closet door: I would suggest on the other door only becuase you have better light coming at you when facing that direction versus the lighting being behind you when facing the other door.

Tara, swap the hooks and mirror spots! Hang hooks on the back of the door and mount the mirror on the inside wall. More stable for sure!

As far as heels go you can get by with 3 pairs. One pair black, one pair nude and one pair sparkly(silver or gold). Nude goes with everything and makes your legs look longer. Sparkly takes care of formal events, and black is another great neutral. The pop of color heels are great, but if you aren't wearing heels much, they are just taking up space. Sometimes they were bought to match an outfit ..... and the outfit is no longer in the closet.

The hooks and a full length mirror would be good for that closet since you use it constantly and it will keep it organized and free from getting cluttered.

Shelf organising 101: 1. You do not need fancy schamsy organising containers (can use stuff things come in esp those cute paper bags with cloth or cord handles, lids of shoe boxes, ribbons , string fruit bags, all those pretty presentation boxes your cosmetic bundles come in, etc 2. Roll stuff - it sits nicely and stays tidy when you take items out 3. Tie things that may unravel ie. with aforementioned ribbons/cords 4. Fold items to fit-fill the space so tall piles do not fall over 5. Put cup hooks under shelves to hang small things, keep bag handles from flattening and tangling and use otherwise wasted space 6. Have fun and film it for us 😊😀😁

Oh my goodness, you're definitely not alone when it comes to the closets! I am pretty good at keeping open areas clean, but closets and anywhere out of sight.....it gets bad to say the least 😅I guess i should start tackling mine now that I've seen u do yours!

Lol, I love this Vlog, I feel so much better about how hard I procrastinate to unpack a suitcase and I wish my closet was in the state that yours was in, because I can't. I get overwhelmed so easily.

At home we use those wine holder cross thingies (y'know the wooden X's that split up a cubby into 4 for wine bottles) to organise our scarves! We roll the scarves up and place em into those crosses. Maybe an idea for your coat closet?

If you want to store you little stepladder differently, I got a BIG command hook and hung mine up on a wall in my laundry room (where I have it, it doesn't stick out in the way so it works).

Tara, I know you've mentioned ADD before. Try the Clutterbug organization quiz to figure out your organizing style. Super helpful for people with ADD. Would be cool to see you organize according to this type and see if it makes a difference.

Definitely the same on the organization. It’s hard taking the time to organize when I’m so busy. I do the same thing to my closet then reset or organize seasonally or if needed sooner. Can’t wait to see your soup recipe. I love soup! Love watching your vlogs, seeing someone else do the same things I do is refreshing. Especially with your platform, makes me feel like there’s a lot hole bunch of us that do the same things. ❤

You've done a few resets this year. What's your favorite part of travel recovery? * Clear organizing bins in the closet with labels is a great option. You can etsy labels. Then when the season is over you can move the seasonal items to storage.*

That little container you bought would look great with some vertical dried flowers or dried plants in the color scheme that you've got going on. Aannnnnd girrrrrrl, I'm terrible at leaving piles of unfolded clothes all over my room which makes its way into weird piles in my closet. Such a bad habit, lmao. Ooops

Tara, on the opposing closet door put 3 command strips with hooks on each side of door spaced 12 inches apart going down on each side Then tie some nylon string across to create an clothesline effect. Use clothes pins to hang hats, gloves small scarfs etc.

I love the idea of switching closets out with the seasons. I’ve done it my whole adult life. Moving in with the boyfriend as we speak and trying to get him to appreciate it as well. One down side to his space is that there is no storage space so our stuff will be in storage. Just trying to organize it good so I know where things r. lol n oh Gilmore girls with fall go hand in hand.
