You should paint that wall green. I feel like that color with the terracotta bedsheets would look soooo cozy! Love the ladder shelf! I’m also in the middle of rearranging things and it’s been a challenge

I've got a deep foresty green in my living room and I've never regretted that decision - it's so cosy in there and I love the natural tone - it would also go so well with your yellow and orange toned features in your room 💕 I'm sure whatever you do it's going to look amazing

A nice sage green or a forest green would go with your bedding so much better than the orange walls. But if you do go with the orange go with orange 2 as the brown tones in it will match bedding better

Love the new bookcase. I think orange on the wall would be too much orange. The dark green colour sounds nice. It would make the orange you do have pop. Maybe put the tapestry above your bed too instead of behind the bookcase 🤷‍♀️

I love watching people cook, it’s so interesting to see what different people around the world eat. Next time you use the coconut oil make sure to put your flour on straight away (I don’t know for sure but I think your oil probably set because the air got to it & don’t forget to tip your tin upside down to get rid of the excess flour) and if you do it over the sink you’ll have less mess & it’s easier to clean up. I love the fact that you don’t enjoy cooking but you’re still giving it a go. I’m proud of you Beth! It’s hard to make ourselves do things we don’t enjoy but look at you go👏🥰

Orange 04 looks better with comforter but I prefer orange 02 it’s warmer.

Last time I did a clothing purge. One area I tackled was my sock drawer. Because like you I had a tone of socks and could barely close the drawer. Had a whole bag of them gone after that👍

Your cupboard of shame makes me feel better lol. Reminds me of the locked closet that Monica has in Friends. But you're always so neat and tidy despite having decorative items and such but your place always feels so much more put together than mine. Not that I want you to have this chaotic space BUT it makes me feel a little better about my slightly messy existence. Thank you for sharing. Also, really could use with doing a solid weekend clear out too. Maybe this will inspire me for my next weekend off.

Watching you bake was fun to see. As someone who likes to bake I recommend having 2 oven mitts. This really helps me when I need to flip something out of a pan.

This video was so wholesome. I'm packing as I'm seeing this... How about a little sunset-y color. Like a sunrise or sunset... that would also bring in the cozy vibes at the same time help you get up early in the morning.

This is amazing for you and inspiring! My flat has very little storage, no cupboards at all, so I just keep stuff in a trunk in my spare room and I have an extra bookcase in there. I've always been pretty ruthless with keeping my stuff to the minimum - except for books, because I prioritized my living room for bookcases. Your flat looks really nice! Also: As a Dunelm employee, I love those baskets that you have your book sleeves in, I have several of the bigger ones!

This was really fun and inspiring! I ended up cleaning my own apartment after watching, and getting a (much needed) new bookshelf as well. The second orange looks amazing, btw!

I have my ladder shelf by my bed as my side table. One shelf has a lamp, alarm clock, currently reading and other essentials (like medicines) in a pretty box. The rest has books, plants and whatever else i need or want. I like having different heights in my room - it creates a more organic feel. And when you don't have wall space you'll always have wall height! Also, never heard of putting flour on top of the oil. Oil is all i have used. Coconut oil on my hair is a regular treat. I completely coat it and pin it up for an hour or two. Then wash it out with shampoo. It comes out easilh and doesn't leave a residue. Greaf for colour treated hair like mine! You did a great job sorting items out. Particularly the socks! It's very cathartic isn't it?

I do have a Shakespeare head plant pot and a watering squirter. For when I do have the room for plants. I saw one for Edgar Allen Poe. I'm hoping I can get it this year from Spirit Halloween. Plus, our Walmart has a Budda head plant pot. Okay, I will have a collection of Head pots😂

I really like the tones of orange #2 but I am a Virgo so the Earthier the better. Great video. You inspired me to work on my bedroom organizing project.

I think that orange on the right would look great! I have an accent wall in my room in a color called Fresh Basil by PPG, which is a dark green with a very neutral undertone. I also have a lot of light beige/white walls and bedding, but all my furniture is dark so it balances out.

The Orange 02 is more warm toned, 04 looks like a cool-toned orange if you were worried about that

Laughing at your comments on the draw of socks as I have more than that many socks 😂 Maybe you bought the grey mirror to spray paint the frame gold? 🤔 We need a booksnest cooking series 🤣🤣 You didn't need the flour, just the oil 🙂 And orange 02 gets my vote ✌

I painted my guest room from white to blue and my guests said that the dark blue was so much more restful .

Just a suggestion /question if you have 2 bathrooms why do you need a vanity,place for makeup in your bedroom?

I don’t really have much space in my bathrooms for makeup bits and I like that I can sit down in my bedroom to do it. I used to just sit on the floor to do makeup when I lived at home so it’s always something I wanted to have when I had my own place.
