The sheer amount of love you must feel for a game, to remake it this way.

I love the extra details the creator added that RE fans will appreciate. Like the RE3 variant zombie seen behind the RPD gate where Jill enters from. As well as changing the jump scares just enough that they are unexpected but still true to the original. I’d love to play this through VR looks like a proper masterpiece.

This is brilliant. As a near 40 year old bloke I remember playing the original as a teenager. Great remake.

It’s like looking into a timeline where capcom kept the idea of having the series be first person.

I love the neat little touches, like Katherine Warren coming back as a zombie, Mr. X smashing through the door from the lounge area, the use of the 1.5 soundtrack in the operations room and even the cutscenes being in first person. The best thing bt far though was being able to see the RPD in a whole new perspective and too look out over the city and see the zombies wandering the streets. Very cool.

This is amazing! Locations is just the same, as original, but in real 3D. Creator of this "Fan re-make" deserve a medal. Two medals actually - one with eagle on it, and one with wolf.

Wow, this is super impressive! My favorite parts are all the views from the windows and how they even re-created the intro with it all synced up with the OG audio. Wasn't expecting that at all. Can't wait to see this finished and thanks for showcasing it Kendo!

This is amazing. It looks and feels like a mixture of the FMV videos and pre-rendered point and click games. So faithful and beautiful to see this.

I absolutely love how it looks like a mix between how the backgrounds would actually look and the FMVs, whats super cool is with more time the graphics and sound could be redone to modern standards but with keeping the original layout and story, you know, what the offical remake should've been, maybe have an option to switch like with the halo anniversary, but this, i cant wait to play this

Very impressive! Code Veronica had a similar bonus mode when you beat the game, but it was only for short levels. And, that game alreadu had fully 3D environments. Since RE2 was pre-rendered, I can only assume that these were re-modeled from scratch. Much respect for your excellent work!

Re 2 Classic is one of my favorites, and in First Person is a whole new experience, really impressive! 😮 The new pathing and different use of itens was neat too, keep the game fresh. 10/10 mod, can't for the full release (I hope they make Claire playable too 🙌) Great video K! Much love ✌💗

As Leon says when he sees Marvin "ooh...man!" it's impressive ! The project to do on re2 original is done with pleasure, in addition the number of zombies and certain small moments are not like that of the original (when you come home and you see Marvin slowly moving towards the office) and that the Licker appears no not when the head falls but later, we feel that there are little surprises ^^ Especially in the library where the shelf breaks at the same time XD I was surprised in the 30:19, I didn't expect that o.o I would have liked you to use the baton, I would have liked to see that, but it doesn't matter. In any case, I wish encouragement for the creator who did an incredible job! My respect for him ^^

La verdad me sorprende que este Fan Game recree en modo FPS un clásico de la PS1, todo en 3D y hasta las "Cinemáticas" están geniales con la perspectiva en primera persona, eso si los modelados de los Personajes son para echarse unas risas xD tienen que arreglar eso pero en general esta muy bien trabajado y un gran tributo al mejor Juego de la Saga (En mi opinión). This is better than the original RER Survivor. Does not feel predictable. Excellent job of capturing the feel of RE2, and putting it to FPS.

I would love a first person version of Resident Evil 2 in the same vein of the Super Mario 64 Render96 project. Getting the graphics as identical to the cutscenes as possible yet entirely in first person. This is a very good start as the environments capture the feeling pretty well. The characters are almost there.

It's like a dream watching this play out, it doesn't feel real. The art design is immaculate, it feels so much like if the original background stills could move. This is so well done, I cannot imagine the amount of time it'd take to work on this.

This version will help close the gap between FPS and 3rd Person Action Game. I myself enjoyed the Orginal versions but this version may be alot more user friendly and more immersion.

I've never seen so much love, effort and dedication put into such a faithful remake!

When you consider the amount of resources and money a modern game takes this is eye opening. A good game is still a good game without the bells and whistles. Congratulations.

Edit: I didn't realize there was a RE1 first person as well! Looks like Christmas came early this year! lol Very cool. In addition to the request of original CGI cutscenes option I would suggest for interactions with objects such as pushing them using the 3rd person mode perspective and animations. Perhaps even for being bit by zombies as them just lurching foward at the screen seems sort of bizarre. Perhaps you could use RE Survivor's bite animation style instead? I will be watching very intently for more news and updates on this awesome project. Thanks again! I've been really excited to hear news on this project! So cool! My only request would be an option to keep the original CGI cutscenes. Keep up the good work!!! Hope in the future RE3 gets the same treatment!

It's weird seeing the classic police station being traversed with no loading doors. It's also funny hearing the music instantly change when going from room to room.

I felt genuinely scared, as if I was watching my older brother play this game for the first time 20 years ago. The first-person perspective, alongside the blurred textures and claustrophobic corridors, really makes you feel like you’re trapped in a nightmare. It was a charm to watch the gameplay.
