Resident Evil 2 Remake (2019) has 127 Collectible Locations: 58 Files, 15 Mr. Raccoons, 8 Safe Locks, 6 Inventory Upgrades, 2 Portal Safes, 6 Maps, 32 Key Items.
This guide shows them all in chronological order. Each of the 4 campaigns contains unique collectibles. We'll go through them in this order: Leon A, Claire A, Leon B, Claire B.
Stick to that order as will be pointed out in the video when a new character campaign starts. Be sure to collect them on ASSISTED difficulty! On Hardcore some locations are different!
Finding Resident Evil 2 Collectibles unlocks the following trophies & achievements:
- A Waist of Space trophy - Expand inventory slots to max
- Lore Explorer trophy - Read all of the files
- Vermin Extermination trophy - Destroy a Mr. Raccoon
- Complete Vermin Extermination trophy - Destroy all Mr. Raccoons
- Master of Unlocking trophy - Open all of the safes and locks in the game

In the library after the jack, you don't have to move each bookshelf separately. Just push the leftmost shelf and it will move all of them together and in place.

So I already completed Leon A with all the files except for the exclusives of course and now I'm playing Claire A, do I have to obtain all files again or only the exclusives? Edit: Yes, nobody answered me so I had to find out myself, so for those who have the luck to find this exact comment, you collect the files once and u r good to go, so if you managed to get every file (excluding the unique ones for each stage of course) in your first run, the only thing you have to focus on is to get the unique files for each run

@@adelh7862 Don't worry man, if you collected some of them in your first playthrough, you can go to your last save on that playthrough and go to the menu that tells you what documents you've picked, you just check every document shown in the video and the ones you have and in that way you'll know what you need, but if you don't know what mr racoons you got before, unfortunately you have to play the game from the beginning and check every spot, hope I helped.

I collected all the items with Leon, and I have some saves with Claire spread out, if i get one claire exclusive file At the police station then jump to a save at nest without that file, it will count?

Great guide as ever. I actually did my no healing item and footsteps trophy in one playthrough, then no item box in another then S rank Hardcore and am now going to go through assisted with the infinite launcher for all files. Just made it much easier for me to get the other trophies done first!

PowerPyx the S.T.A.R.S. badge USB has a second use. I think it unlocks an upgrade for the Maltida. I know I stumbled upon it in the game, but I just can't remember in which section it is. Edit: It actually contains an upgrade for the Magnum Pistol. When you get to the sewers, go to the Workroom Lift, take the elevator up (make sure you have the Worker's room key, S.T.A.R.S. USB Badge and the Tool that opens doors), once you're up go the Worker's Room, unlock it and the BIG SHELF (or whatever it is) with tapes, move it and you'll see an elevator. Taking the elevator takes you back to where the Magnum Pistol upgrade is and from there you can return under the statue, use the Tool and the door under Statue Godess will open. Now you have a direct entrance to the sewers and the Police Station.

You can actually get back to the police station. Behind the workers break room cabinet is a hidden elevator. Takes you right to the upgrade. As well as going back to develop the film

@Moonpooka If it's marked with red, that means you have no use for it anymore. Discard it. You only use it twice. 1. To get the Magnum. 2. To upgrade it. If an item is marked red, you don't need it and you have to discard it. That's what the game tells you from the start.

So the only exclusive files for B scenarios are memos for each character. You can find all raccoons and all 54 files through Leon A/Claire B or Claire B/Leon A.

At 37:23 you missed one thing , you can push the taped cupboard and behind it there is an elevator which will lead you to a staircase. If you go at the bottom of staircase their is a case where you have to put usb shield 🛡️ dongle and it opens and a muzzle for hawk gun is there. And if you go to middle of staircase it leads to machinery room and if you go to top of staircase their is another elevator which leads to secret room at the police station.

The part after escaping the parking lot with Ada theres a couple things to collect, after u use the parking lot key card, in the gun shop there’s a file and a shot gun upgrade do they not count? Only the guide skips straight to the alligator fight, Edit sorry guys scrap that question, the file is a letter from Jill for a dlc trophy (chasing Jill)

Some Racoons are pretty hard spot!. I could only do 10/15 by myself. I was wondering where my last 2 documents were and it turns out I'm missing only Claire's notes from Leon B (the one which I haven't played yet) :D

I always heard about Mr. X giving people reasons to sleep with the lights on. That man has me screaming at the top of my lungs every inch he moves closer to me.
