Resident Evil 2 is one of the all time great survival horror games that helped mold the genre into what it is today. This 2019 Remake keeps the core story and atmosphere, but truly remakes it into something entirely new. This is Claire's 2nd run story. This is only Claire's story. As always, we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to stitch together a fluid cinematic story. We cut out most of the puzzle solving since it's mostly unnecessary to the story. We hope you enjoy!

@@roleemack1535 The Sparkshot in RE2 remake is Claire's weapon in All of her stories (A and B). She obtains it in the sewer section, I believe so. The gatling gun is her final weapon against William Birkin. For Leon's story, it's the Rocket Launcher.

Back in the original version, both sides get Rocket Launcher regardless. The remake makes it better, having the Gattling Gun as a final weapon against the final boss (as of Claire's side).

The orphanage part is never in the original RE2, probably because of this "child horror" you're talking about. It makes a rather good scene, though, if otherwise controversial. Shows everyone what can really happen during the zombie apocalypse/outbreak.

Notice william birkin follows sherry around in form 1 of G protect her from clair (they fight, clair wins, he was misguided in this batter) then he follows her to the orphanage where he kills chief irons for attacking his daughter. This is after he fights clair for the first time and is extremely injured, and his form is rushing towards stage 2 of G to survive. He still remains with enough humanity to get away from sherry and not implant the embryo. As he hears the tyrant he knows it's chasing sherry down and it's a threat to his daughter so he swiftly follows it. He punches his arm/claw hybrid into the tyrants chest (he didn't finish mutating until then) and is finally overpowered by the G-virus and the G-mutation + head pops out and fully takes over birkin. He loved his daughter so much more than his wife did it seems.

ingame there's a note that says that a subject with the virus feels the need to infect someone, most likely their offspring / someone with his blood (sorry for my English), so... I'm sorry to break your theory there. He was just looking to "pass" the virus to his daughter, since that was the virus tendency apparently.

Have to say, Leon and Claire are both superhumans... Around 48 hours of no sleep, no proper rest, no eating or drinking, constantly running, fighting, getting injured, and facing overwhelming odds. They are both superhuman physically and psychologically

After seeing both game plays of the new Resident Evil 2 remastered, they really out did themselves this time. Live the gameplay and the ending was perfect. Now, time for Resident Evil 3: Nemesis to be remastered. I hope they do it.

And Marvin just dies like a nobody in Claire's situation. Just another zombie in hundreds. It's great when you play as Leon and see just how great his story is. The divide between their perspectives is so great. Really makes you want to play twice just to see what all you missed. Looking forward to the gun owners DLC, that was a really touching moment

Sherry is a government agent and those are the facts. She became an agent not because she was a G-carrier, but because she yearned to follow in Leon’s footsteps. She didn’t become an agent by force but of choice. Her mission to secure Jake Muller was not so Sherry could be free. Sherry was constained by the government because her body contained potent yet dormant samples of the G strain. It was Leon that freed her from being experimented on, under the condition that she worked directly under the president’s adviser, Simmons, which Sherry thought initially that she could trust. Sherry willingly accepted the mission to take Jake because Sherry knew that Jake’s blood was special, same as hers. It has nothing to do with her being a government hostage. Again, get your facts straight. You’re just arguing for the sake of arguing, even when your lore is skewed.

So strange that theres absolutely no mention of an outbreak on the radio, no Army checkpoints or anything. I do find Leon and Claires chemistry in this genuinely refreshing, just the way they look at each other when they talk plus thier flirtations with each other makes you wonder what direction if they continue to reboot the franchise they may take with them. They seem to be destined to be together much more in this version and for some weird reason it makes me happy lol The creepiest part by far that is all new is the orphanage, super creepy and makes one loathe Umbrella even more when you realize reading these kids diaries that Umbrella was experimenting on then murdering these little kids. Can only assume they liquidated them en masse when the outbreak went into full swing though i may be wrong Also even though its in Leons quest Robert Kendo and his little girl in this version absolutely breaks my heart

Well you remember how they had that whole "fight the monster/run" choice mechanic? Imagine how many fools decide to fight the monster their first time. I love watching blind playthroughs of Nemesis for that reason. Unless you have the skill, RUN AWAY. THE DESERT EAGLE IS NOT WORTH IT, unless you're really good at the game.

I really hate how Claire and Leon's stories "line up". I wish it was actually realistic to where they were, rather than them being in the same place in each run (no matter if you do Leon A and Claire B or Clare A and Leon B), but never actually see each other. Although both runs are great and the game is really great, I just wish it was lined up better and thought out better. For an example... if you play Leon A and Claire B, Claire will find a letter written by Leon. But in the first run, Leon never writes Claire a letter. Or them being in the same areas but finding different weapons. Seeing Annette die, fighting William, dealing with Mr. X. And again, being in the same place at the same time during early points in the game but never running into each other a single time. The events not matching up or lining up satisfyingly in any of the playthroughs is just a small bit annoying. Why make two runs, and have the importance of the A-B paths, if it doesn't line up anyway?

After watching Leon A and Claire B scenarios, I am very confused. I was surprised at how similar both scenarios are. Aren't these scenarios suppose to be happening at the same time? How is it that in each path you encounter the same enemies, in the same location, the same way twice?

Keith Silverstein who's been the voice of Hunk since Umbrella Chronicles, also reprises his role here and I'm pretty happy with that. They are the best voices for Birkin and Hunk in my opinion.

I just realized that when I was playing the game I actually entered the police building from the front door and when the Leon and Claire cage in the rain cutscene started I’ve already known Chris went to Europe... damn now I’m feeling like a badass ( but actually it’s just AB scene stuff

Soooo if you're not completely aware, the Helicopter that crashes into the Police Station is from RE3, it happens after Jill tries to get help, and the pilot gets taken out by the Nemesis. So Leon and Claire are super lucky that they missed the city being nuked.
