Actually if you look closely on stage 2 of butlins form you can see he still has his 2 arms. It isnt changing his body from the looks of it. Its like its growing on him and it grows more and more and by stage 3 his body has been consumed. However I'd say if you destroyed the g virus growing on him youd find his body inside of it but hed probably be dead since if the g dies he dies.

I agree. There's only a few survival horror games which have been able to match the experience from classics such as this one. In the previous generation there was Dead Space but from this generation I can't think of many games other than RE7 and this one. The first Evil Within was good but they messed up horribly with the 2nd one

The graphics design of today had no choice but to blow the old model design away. To much time has passed to allow for an epic comeback, which we will not see much of these day. To bad all the remasters wont look and play this good.

The removal of some old favourites like the spiders were a shame though, and G Stage 4 was easily a step down from the original. But overall the remake, not surprisingly, looks better. Better tech does make for better visuals obviously.

I liked the designs in this game, most were faithful but modernised. They did a better job than RE3 remake imo.

THey changed it a tad too much and left out entire sections.

Former Birkin's 3rd form is wrong in this video. It's from scenario B, the fight on the lift to the underground laboratory. In scenario A you fight with 2nd form in this place, so the form from the video is like 2,5 haha. Birkin's 3rd and 4th stage is in the final battle in scenario A and he looks more similar to the Remake version.

The OG G3 form was going for more of a ultimate lifeform look.

I like that they just generally gave him more of a personality. He'll crack his neck during chases, push zombies out of the way like fucking nothing. There's even a subtle frustrated look in his animations when you stun him. Hell, it's easy to miss, but at one point he does a super hero landing. I find it fascinating how he's very organic and not at all robotic and yet he was created just to follow orders and fuck shit up. Another thing, he's normally completely mute and yet the Super Tyrant vocalizes, it roars. Why only then?

Personally I loved the stage 3 Birkim in the remake. It's design is awesome. As for the stage 4 well I kinda like the remake. It's animation shows how his virus instinct drove him nuts and acting like a brutal, hideous, blood-thirsty monster.

Dunno, why people "hate" the 4-5. To me it looks like a sensible evolution to his previous form, logical look to it, and...yea, it just makes sense to how it looks unlike the old one, and I personally prefer everything that is in remake, it just looks better and logical.

And they did not disappoint, except for the arrogant old re2 fans. If you look closely, G4's body is pulsating, growing extra limbs around its body, and its degraded appearance can imply it's a forced evolutionary state from trying to heal the extensive damage G3 was dealt. Its decrepit, degraded, yet beastly new form symbolizes the loss of mind in trade for sheer strength. And then G5 symbolizes the prize G has paid for trying to heal such extensive damage beyond not even half a G4 body remaining.

@Konrad F. the game demands you to depose of both. As far as I'm aware, you can't avoid killing the Lickies or knocking out Birkin. Every time you somehow drop him from a great height, he'll return in a stronger form. PS- I'm not a player, my knowledge of games comes from Let's Play videos and Wikipedia.
