Resident Evil 2 is an upcoming survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It is a remake of the 1998 game Resident Evil 2. Players control rookie police officer Leon S. Mr X is actaully constantly walking around the police station searching for you. They gave him 2 ai to accomplish this. The first knows where your character is at all times and the second ignores the first and causes him to search for you. The second was also programmed to listen for you running and firing your weapon. The only time the 2 AI get overwritten is when a ingame script gets activated that requires him to be in certain places at certain times.

Claire reminds me little of Buffy The Vampire Slayer from the 90s tv show in some ways. Especially the whole getting into trouble line. Someone should seriously consider modding a her knives into stakes and her costume into Buffy's.

Leon went through so much before he meet Claire outside the police station, and in Claire’s story its has not been long since they saw each other 🤷🏻♀️ everything went so fast. Either way, graphics are insane ❤️

I love the details in this. Clair A she meets Marvin and is in shock when she sees him as a zombie while in this one Leon met him instead and so she just sees him as another zombie. This game has so much replay ability.

I know this comment was made 2 years ago but the sign was also in the Leon playthrough. Also not all of the RPD squad is dead. Some survived. Originally Leon was supposed to be at the station before when the game takes place but the RPD told him to stay away because the outbreak happened. The RPD had already setup the sign to welcome Leon.

Am I seeing this wrong or something, but from Clairs playthrough, isnt that suppose to show what she had to do get through to end. But she does almost all the same tasks as leon which doesn't make sense to me. Alot of this doesnt add up. Well anyway, great video Brad, love the content keep it up.

Yeah, it's really just a shortcut to extending the game a bit. Essentially, you're meant to assume that Leon didn't do everything the same as he did when you played with him. It'd be better if they had more divergent stories, but I guess the devs saw the Story B system as more of a glorified costume change with a few different cinematics.

I recommend saving the acid rounds for bosses. It temporarily stops them so you can either run away or shoot their weak points. The acid rounds are not particularly useful on regular enemies nor lickers, so just a heads up.

I would watch you play through all the campaigns if you post them. Also the Claire A is the same length as Leon A and I actually enjoyed it better. I would recommend doing all of them.

I think her story is a little easier, but I prefer Leon's weapons. Claire's magnum is the revolver you start with but with upgraded parts, where as Leon's is a separate weapon all together. The shotgun is a little more plentiful in ammo than the grenade launcher as well, and you can't craft incendiary rounds. Claire doesn't get chased by X after spraying the greenhouse though, and her very last boss fight has more maneuvering room.

I somehow discovered your RE3 set of videos before the RE2 video and I got to say it's more stressful watching Mr. X chase you then it ever was in the nemesis fights. The police station feels way more closed in, looks darker, and it just feels like way less options exist when you're getting chased here it's crazy!!! Good stuff Brad!

Everything that Leon did, never happened. They reverse roles but some things are in different places and as well as the enemies I think. But I’ve heard that the middle part is completely different instead of Leon when he was in the sewer with Ada so it’s not just every area we’ve already seen.

Imagine if Resident Evil 2 could hear your voice in real time, and if you talked, Tyrant or other zombies could hear you talk, so you'd have to be really quiet when you play (or you could turn it off if it got in the way). That'd feel more immersive.

Since Capcom released Ghost Survivor mode, I kinda want to see and alternative story DLC mode where Leon and Claire switch places, so Leon is running into Sherry and Claire meeting up with Ada.

I don’t know if you all know this but there is a DLC coming out on February 15th called GHOST Survivor For this game there are 3 different people who you have to play and you have to play there scenarios and see how they survive just watch a video on it looks good can’t wait for that.

Brad needs to pace himself in this run. He's trying to speed run it with Claire and forgets that things change and since he's playing blind with her, he should at least explore a bit more since her side happens minutes or couple hours after Leon's there.

WatchtowerbaseHQ pretty sure it didn’t take THAT long for Claire to get there when Leon reached the station first. They might’ve taken different paths but even in the OG, both didn’t take long before they reached the station.

So, as far as i know, you can get all the Samurai Edge guns, Standard model, Chris, Jill, and Wesker model but i don't know if you can get the Barry Burton Model. Maybe they will release it as a DLC.

Kieran Stevens I know, it’s actually a Colt Anaconda. But Barry got a Samurai Edge too, he only uses the second version in RE Revelations, the first version is only a reward in RE Remake.

Why is there a revolver cylinder on a box of .45 ACP? Sure there are some weird revolvers that shoot it, but 99.9% of guns chambered in it are automatics. Hence Automatic Colt Pistol.

@@TheDrinkyDude Yeah, but an ammo manufacturer would never put a revolver cylinder on a box for a cartridge that was specifically developed for automatic pistols. There are automatics chambered in .357 magnum too, but 99% chance when someone buys a box of it, its going into a revolver.
