I love that they added HUNKs hidden blade. Its a detail i think most people forget about all the time, mostly because Capcom refuses to do anything with Resident Evil second most mysterious character, except put him in mercenaries.

@@fongxiong1929 he actually had it in the original mercenaries, it just wasn't as pronounced and he took it out too quickly to really notice. In operation raccoon city he had it there as well.

That's the point. Neck breaker is good against bosses but actually worse than other melee against regular enemies.

The only two things I want is co-op and a unlimited horde mode because with mercenary’s it get kinda boring when you kill all 150 enemies and then the match ends over and over.

i feel like re5 version had more replay value a lot of maps a lot of characthers there was coop and unique melee combos if you chain melee together

@@Tummamu 6 also has the dumb enemy limit to it's mercenaries mode, though you also have a no mercy mode that ups the number and the enemies but it gets a little too chaotic if you're solo

I never played the original Mercenary Mode, but I do like how their Stun Kill Animations represent their character Hunk: a clean neck snap Luis: A shoulder Jab or a Pipe to the face Leon: a swift boot to the head Krauser: showing off his expert military training tactics

The knife is not new (in this game it is jajaja) he do that in revelations 2, in the raids, I miss the NeckBreaker insta kill in that game but capcom put the kill with the knife in Revelations 2, in this game is the same, the only diference is hunk doing a twist and then he kill with the knife

Kind of seems rendundant to give HUNK a hidden wrist blade when he uses boot knives already and can perform finishers with it if he’s behind them or blinds them with a flash grenade. Sometimes even when you stun them in their head or in their leg and make them kneel, you get a prompt to melee or use a knife instant kill with R2 button if you’re on the PlayStation. It also begs the question why doesn’t he just parry stuff with the hidden blade instead of relying on disposable boot knives in his inventory. I dunno, I just feel like we could’ve gotten something more unique as a melee option instead of the hidden blade move. He already has knives. I do like like that he has his riot kick melee which switches between his hidden blade melee animations just to mix it up. Also is it just me or was his OG RE4 neck break move more badass than this one and a lot faster. He spun around them and broke their neck instantly and immediately kept it moving, not giving the ganado victim a second thought. Here he breaks their neck and poses with jazz hands for like 2-3 seconds. Almost like he’s saying “oops, did I do that? I didn’t mean to”. With his hands.

It's to balance his Mayhem Mode, aside from neck break IK, he also has an infinite ammo during mayhem giving him Original Neck Break will make him more busted than he already is

Yep! Any human-sized enemy will be killed immediately, including Brutes and the chainsaw Ganados.

Ehh kinda dumb for Louis I would have just given him a retractable police knight stick it's a better idea than him carrying a piece of rebar unrealistically in his pocket.
