@@ROEnetwork I still think it's a bad idea for many reasons, mostly because if Wesker has to be remade completely to fit the "reboot verse" Capcom is probably building by now, there's 3 games to be remade before RE5 (4 if you count the Operation Javier part of Darkside Chronicles and Capcom decides Wesker may have a hand in this Outbreak).

In mercenaries, Wesker's so OP that he doesnt need health items. But, being Wesker, I wished that the developers would've added an L1 downed enemy and escape mechanic. When enemies are downed or twitching, he can do Chikyo Chagi from OG RE4 and when choked he can easily escape because, well, he's freaking Wesker! Maybe breaking the grips and throwing a hand thrust, also from oG RE4.

I believe that it's intentional he can't instantly stop enemies from reviving themselves. He's a funny sort of 'Alternative glass canon', high damage, no heals, great options (insane mobility, insane mayhem mode and melee attacks) but also lacking options that are basic for any other character, including a gun that can deal with multiple enemies at once (i.e: SMG or Shotgun) or a knife.

I legit said this on Reddit. Wesker was apparently everywhere Leon and Ada had trekked in RE4 Remake. It would make sense for him to have a campaign, since he saved Ada while quite possibly battling the villagers and Mendez maybe. He retrieved Krauser's body and we all know, in the og RE4, that Krauser didn't die after his battle with Leon. Plus, he had to have physically been present, on the island, to plant the bombs. And even furthermore, data miners have found a new 11.4 GB size unnamed DLC added to the RE4 Remake in the Steam db.

This Resident Evil 4 Remake is something i will do too. I wonder what the makers will do with Resident Evil 5 Remake. I liked the game and Mercenaries stuff😃👍. I've been a fan sinds the original Resident Evil 1. I have that game on PS1 and DSi. I will play all the Resident Evil games for sure.
