I did very much like his rendition of Wesker. The sinister aura is still there, the manipulative personality, the snarkiness-- it's all still there. I hope they stick with him in the Re Remake games. 😊

It has been a luxury to be able to interview this man and his iconic voice. How much I hated his character and at the same time I enjoyed him, with his witty phrases. His participation in the saga is missed!

*_BAAAAWWW!!!_* The _singular time_ I forgot my cell and _this_ is what I miss!? this has to be the beginning of my life's unlucky period- ça m'écrase! 😭 I've even been over on Nick's channel forever waiting for Craig to appear! His take on classic, conceited Albert Wesker instantly resonated with me. I still have so many questions... I'm glad Beggy was able to talk with him, on behalf of all of us in the though! Travail fantastique!

He does sound like Richard Waugh in this one, but I feel like he tried way too hard to sound intimidating in the game, almost coming off as some brute, rather than the mastermind that is Albert Wesker. I hope Craig will improve his performance in the future. Don't force intimidation in your voice, instead try to sound more like a man of focus. BTW thanks for having Andy as an interviewer. Also, Beggy looks stunning!

I agree with your take. Directly replacing the iconic Richard Waugh made Craig Burnatowski's vocal performace a massive disappointment to me, for similar reasons you said; I see this a similar issue with the voice of Jack Krauser too (which was even worse). In Wesker's case, the personality was a little too aggressive compared to the original depiction but Craig covered that well, unfortunately Craig made a too rough voice for Albert Wesker, though I blame more voice direction than Craig himself...

@@yutro213 it's not like his performance was bad, but rather “misguided”. Hearing Craig speaking in this podcast, I was like: “Oh crap, he DOES sound like Wesker!”. So I want to give him a chance.

He’s the best wesker, not even honeymooning it. The RE5 guy, I forget his name, was very good however in my opinion it was just too animated. Corny can be a good thing, but his voice for wesker got a little over the top corny. I like this grounded wesker from Craig, much more sinister

The fact that the "re5 guy" was comical and corny is why he's so memorable Craig did a good job with what he was given but OG re5's wesker's voice is far more memorable and iconic

Hold on this interview is so cool and all but I just wanna ask and please bear with me co's I haven't been keeping in touch about anything RE lately so, is Andy like officially a part of ROE now? Can anyone answer this please I appreciate you thank you! If it is it's awesome to see another RE legend joining the ROE FAM! Although I still love Andy taking the helm for BHD hehe either way I only want nothing but the best for this guy co's he's so cool! 🙏🏻 P.s. Craig is awesome, hopefully RE5 Remake happens so we get to have him reprise the role! That'd be sick! 🔥💯
