Honestly, I saw the Resident Evil movies before I played the games. In the movie, when he fights Chris and Claire, he did something similar, and that was my favorite part of the whole fight.

Generally speaking I wouldn't say RE5's story is shit; could it have been better? Yeah, but it's not the worst story I've ever played.

Resident Evil 4 is known and loved for because of Leon and his lines, the awesome locations ranging from rural village to castle to military island, the mysterious trader, Louis, the balanced and fun gameplay with various fun weapons, the suitcase inventory and of course its cool enemies and dialogues. Chainsaw man, el gigante, krauser etc.

he still needs to dodge them, and he seems incapable of dodging them while simultaneously attacking. so shooting him is just to keep him at bay cuz otherwise he'll just zip over to you and hold you up by the throat and shove his hand through your chest. granted, wesker still could have done all that in these scenes, but his need to dramatically pause and throw out one liners routinely leads to his failure.

They actually exploited that little trick (he can't attack if he's dodging gunfire) in 'Enter the Matrix' to survive against the Agents (which, in terms of powers, Wesker basically *is*...minus the 'respawning' thing) long enough to get away.

Nearly the same with the Krouser boss fight on RE4.

it was implied that excella was sexually interested in wesker and when they became business partners or whatever before the events on this game, wesker used that against her to get what he wanted from tricell. he knew excella was expendable so they were probably fucking or something like that.

Personally, I found it abundantly clear that she wasn't romantically interested in him. She just understood the ramifications of his plan, and wanted to be standing by his side when the sh*t hit the fan. She must have failed to realize that this man is _not human_ and couldn't be seduced that way.

If u read excella lore it says wesker used her feeling towards him to his advantage she really did like him but what confuses me is when he rejects her and basically hints ur only here until ur not needed why she would even bother then or Atleast plan something else at that moment she was visibly pissed with him there after but is fine with him after it was a death sign to anyone with a brain she actually did like him and wanted to be a queen. In a note you can find in re8, its implied he did. Note says he provided a strain of uroboros that was turned into the Mold. That means Wesker is also somewhat responsible for the events of 7 and 8. Even in death, his presence is still felt

I miss him so much in the RE series. But we have to live with it I guess 🙂 and we will have to go on with capcom's new approach to the series in re8 and such. Still hope for a Code veronice remake...as we would see Wesker again in that game. But yeah...we have to wait and see 🙂

Having a partner that can actually fight, and Wesker being the main villain alone makes RE5 superior. RE4 may have been a turning point in how RE is played, but that concept is polished AND perfected in RE5.

Hot and dull. One of the most forgettable characters in RE franchise altogether. I remember her name only because I heard Chris say it 214812094802194810294802948120491824 times during my playthrough, but... if you notice, basically nobody else even bothers to so much as look at her, let alone interact with her in any other way.
