Carci, you are a legend bro. I think you have a really good balance between speed and consistency. Many of these strategies can be applied well enough by less proficient players without needing to spend huge sums of time learning every little detail that mega fast speedruns usually need. Plus it's just downright entertaining and a true walkthrough

Playing this a few months after it came out. I got as far as the dogs in the east wing corridor and died to them. Stopped playing and came back to it after a couple of days. Just the music alone gave me the chills (Not to mention it being so catchy that you would hum it when you daydream about the game). When I finally got to replay it again when it came to the return to the mansion, the change of music in the mansion that freaked me the hell out not to mention that was my first experience with backtracking in a game. Since then Resident Evil is my most favrioute franchise. Pickup RE2 while on holiday then I got RE directors cut duelshock edition and man the music in that was... Something that's for sure.

You want pain, I played RE:1 when I was four years old, it was my first actual game that wasn't designed for kids.. and it was the long box version. This was my introduction to the series. I didn't even know until now that the long box version was any different. AAAAAAAH
