Resident Evil Details,
In 1998 a special forces team is sent to investigate some bizarre murders on the outskirts of Raccoon City. Upon arriving they are attacked by a pack of blood-thirsty dogs and are forced to take cover in a nearby mansion. But the scent of death hangs heavy in the air. Supplies are scarce as they struggle to stay alive.

PLEASE PLEASE LEASE Do this! I love the SD Perry Books, they go into so much detail in places that I wanted answer for in the games "why can't we just shoot the locks?" "Well its because the wood is just a facade for the real metal doors beneath." Brilliant!

I was first introduced to this franchise by a friend of mine @ work. He brought me a copy of the game and I played it. I've been hooked on it ever since. If you were to continue to upload UNABRIDGED audio books of this series, I WOULD NOT BE ANGRY at all.

@@CoolDevicesXxm4 oh she narrated him perfectly. Foreshadowing was one point I just like how he was so cool in the beginning. No nonsense very professional and everyone respected him. And tbh he was still cool even when we knew he was the villain. Calm and calculated up until then end and then his true nature came out.

I have ADHD and find it really difficult to concentrate. But, S.D. Perry's books are the only books I've ever read cover to cover. And they've even helped to to concentrate. It's so good to hear one of my most cherished books being read! Brings back some amazing memories. Thank you for this!!

Pretty crazy that this was published in 1998 and the author got the characters down really good. Chris maybe is a little different to what he became but all the other characters are really good.

Yes! I loved how SD Perry dived deeper into characters and how these events have traumatized them. Stuck with them. I always loved the first book as it was the set up to the whole series until we got more games and stories talking about the flower in Africa and the los plagas in Spain. Loved how re0 directly leads into re1. The books just have an amazing flow too. Been years and years since I’ve so much as thought about em but with re4r just came out, it’s been coming back to me. I’m about to order them online. I remember my elementary school had the whole series on sale at the book fair. 😂

@@AREA12security Caliban Cove is its own story. I own it, but I have no plans to read it or Underworld. I usually read them in timeline order (skipping Zero Hour) reading on Umbrella Conspiracy, half of Nemesis, all of City of the Dead, the rest of Nemesis, then Code: Veronica. Lol

I still have two of these books around somewhere. My fave was City of the Dead aka Resident Evil 2. For some reason SD Perry did fill up the unanswered loopholes in the game story, like Claire going to the diner at the beginning as Chris like going to eat there. Also reason why Leon was wearing the police uniform was a bit same like Capcom background story that he changed it at a drive thru. Also some story about Sherry and how she always been lonely

I've been wondering if an audiobook version of these novels existed and it's AWESOME that you're doing this. I've read the books..ahem...multiple times...loved them all! My only complaint is that the girl reading this sounds a...bit...like a text to speech engine, which is kind of a deal breaker for me. I prefer audio books with emotion in the reading.

This is great! One suggestion for next time would be to leave a few seconds pause in-between chapters. 1) so each chapter can feel like its ended and has a moment to breath, and 2) to give a moment to pause the video for people who listen chapter by chapter.

I will wholeheartedly stand by my absolute love of the SD Perry novels. I got into them when I was like 12 after getting into RE4 and subsequently the classic games. They give really really good character development imo and the subtle details they add to the world and characters is honestly great. The novels of the games really add a ton of depth to them that I really like and are my personal headcanon for 1-3 in terms of the way the characters think and behave.

have had all of them digitally on my Kindle app for ages... they're such good books... they're what the movies SHOULD have been... If you've played the games, the way that the scenes are described are completely on-point!!! I never finished ALL of them, but maybe I won't have to....I'll just listen to these, instead!😁

Had a friend years ago that was super into RE and they let me borrow the books to read. I read them all cover to cover in sequential order, but never had my own copies. Been getting into audiobooks more recently as my work allows headphones so I can do my job and listen but not read. Thanks a bunch for giving me a new book guys!

I can't believe it's been over two decades since I last read about Jill running late for her first meeting, yet it still sounds so familiar. S.D. Perry's books filled me with so much glee I can only describe it as like getting DLC...except it's physically in your hands and the content is literally what you want and more. Thank you S.D. this is awesome i would love to hear the whole series, I own them all an have read them, but its been awhile, so going through them again like this is perfect, maybe adding some pics of bows or zombies from the series could be really cool, even if u linger on them for awhile, since it would take a ton to keep up with the whole or half of the book
