I do have a question regarding digital clubbing in COPD patients. I have HESS which is apparently difficult to read and understand as a new RT student. How does Bipap help to fix air trapping? I get how PEEP reduces inspiratory effort, but how do they get all of that air out if they're fighting against 5cmH20 and have poor lung recoil?
