I passed my test today with a 102 and I truly could not of done it with out your videos!! Thank you so much!! I took it two weeks ago for the first time and made an 82. I stepped back and listened to many of your videos and tried again. I went in with a lot more confidence. Second time was a charm!!

I graduate in February. I’m really glad we get to use a calculator for one reason: speed. I’m not the fastest at doing math so it’s really helpful for me. I feel like when we first started school they just threw us formulas and we hadn’t even really seen ICU patients yet. All of them get so confusing to me. I actually feel kinda discouraged cause I start wondering if I’m smart enough to do this as a career.

I love that the why is more important to you. I went to a pretty poor school for my initial RT training. They didn't go much into the "whys", it was just "memorize this" or "memorize that". I didn't feel like an RT. I felt like a fraud most of the time. I could do all the physical stuff but it was hard for me to answer why I was doing it. This time around, I want to be the best RT there is. I want to know how everything works AND why. Thank you for the whys!!!

The first time I passed without a calculator. Now, 17 years later and after a long illness, I’m going to attempt reinstatement. I don’t think a calculator is going to be that helpful. It’s basic high school math that is required. Memorizing the how’s and why’s of the formulas is the more difficult part.

I've been a therapist for over 23 years and watching young therapists come in and not be able to do simple minute ventilation in their head is kinda scary. We don't always have access to calculators or phones at the bedside. I don't think it's a bad thing but the why and just simple math has been a big issue with our new grads. I love teaching students but lately it's been a struggle. I recommend your videos ALOT 😃

I have missed the pass goal by three points. After the fourth attempt, being so close, I’m feeling discouraged. I won’t give up. I know my life calling is in medicine, and being SO close means I need to accelerate the intensity of study, or change up the approach. I appreciate your videos. Hi there. I am really passionate about this career path. At the same time I have never been good with numbers. I know memorization also helps ... but how about using a calculator during school and on the job would that be possible? Can you advise anything else for me. Thank you so much. You are a Great teacher and the way you’re explained it I can see myself getting it vs some of the other videos I have watched. I’m really scared because this will be a second career change for me ( big move for me) and I want to make sure I can see this through.
