I have my backups with me. So I’m always good. The worst I can lose is my flavor. Spent more time than not doing other things. I can’t ever get tired of God and his message and these devotions. They’re all very helpful and important. More than anything else. Jesus is coming back and he is the only way. God bless everyone on this Saturday morning. Praying for Israel and America and the rest of the world.

@@Duane77 7 years is a short time relative to a lifetime. It's easy for you to feel optimistic. When God forsakes a child, he takes away everything. And when you teach a child that God will never forsake her, and she is kidnapped, where is God for her then?

@@chellybabyme Jesus suffered more than any of us. He even, being Holy and without sin, took all of our nasty sins upon Himself that we could have right relationship with God the Father and be saved. He allowed Himself to be hung on a cross naked and bleeding. All for us. He said in this life there will be suffering. The lost have nothing more to lose because they're already lost. They are not a threat to Satan. But we are and we belong to God. He hates God and he hates us. How much better can he hurt God than destroy those who believe in God? Try to quiet your heart before Him. Let Him speak to your heart and be willing to allow Him to embrace you with His presence. He loves you with an undieing everlasting love. Don't lean on your own understanding. He is for you and not against you. I know that what has happened to you has touched many hearts here. There are prayers being said for you. 🙏🙏💜 The lost do not have a good eternal future. The saved do so their suffering is temporary. The lost face eternal suffering. This life is not our home. We are like aliens in a foreign land. If the child you refer to is yourself, or not, know there are those who do have understanding and compassion on your situation. My childhood was difficult and as a result I have PTSD. I'm learning to recognize the "triggers" and with God's help there will be a day when I don't fail in my response to those triggers. I'm learning more trust in Him who saved my soul and is bringing me wholeness.

We are to rely on His support, to love Him because He first loved us, and to obey Him because we love Him. We are not saved by our own works, or merit - none of those things could save us, which is why Christ came. So, seek to share the Savior with those who are lost. Living Waters here on KZfaq has a lot of good resources towards this end: I highly recommend giving their vids a look. I've a long way to go, but Jesus is worthy.

✝️ Hardships come in a variety of ways. Temptations, illnesses, lost jobs, broken relationships, and persecution for one’s faith are all forms of hardship. Christians should not be taken by surprise when hardships come: Jesus warned us, “In this world you will have trouble” (John 16:33). The good news is that Jesus followed up His warning with this word of encouragement: “But take heart! I have overcome the world.” We can endure by *His* grace!‼️
