When police departments are staffed by calm, polite, professional younger fit men, instead of older, overweight and out of shape, angry and often quick-to-anger cops, they just seem to be so much better at their jobs. The younger ones seem to handle the stress better. I’m 59, and I hope that police departments are able to study how other, more successful departments do it. From hiring to training, we need to make sure everyone is properly fit for the job, emotionally, mentally and physically.

Ofc. Brent Riley is a gem. I'm surprised he's not bilingual, but that's about the only thing he could improve. One city near me was giving a $15K signing bonus to bilingual officers: in Maryland, we know it ends up saving money. Good guys "move along", but sketchy guys get...additional idiomatic questioning. 😁 ( Translation: get the thugs in custody, decent people may get tickets, or a verbal warning. Saving Admin Costs Saves Everywhere! 😁)

The Idiot @ 17:54 said he was just chilling in a dumpster and then admitted having one felony and got out the same day he was arrested. So, when a guy spends time with men 24/7 in jail or prison and gets arrested less than 24 hours after his release definitely tells me he is missing the romantic company of them!
