Cup of tea and rural heritage is nice way to start Easter morning. Followed by breakfast and church. Works for me

Holy cow, this brought back so many memories from my childhood. My grandfather worked in a feed mill, I was around 8 years of age. It was all electric, a boiler running a generator, but still very old school, canvas belts almost no augers. I went everywhere in that place, no place was off limits that I remember, no way you could do that now. This video brought back the same smells and feelings from my childhood. Thank you.

I recreated the Ludwig Mill in Grand Rapids OH from 1972-90. Much of the equipment was salvaged from Rupp's Mill at Brownstown PA. The Ludwig is a turbine-powered flour/sawmill combo using the waters of the Miami & Erie Canal.

I grew up on a farm. The Navy trained me in steam plants. I currently am an operator of gas turbines producing 750 megawatts of electricity. This is absolutely fascinating and just as complex of a process as steam power. Love how there is ZERO electronics.

Great vid! Love history! Can you repost tho, with the volume gain higher? My lap top volume is maxed out and can barely hear. 😪

We have a mill not been restored but is being preserved by the Stark County Ohio parks, Magnolia Flowering Mill. I sure hope it will be restored someday.

Why would you schedule a premier on Easter Sunday morning?

So when a Coronal Mass Ejection happens, this mill will still be fully functionable!
