Basmati Rice 100 gm
Onion 1 no
Tomatoes 2 no
Salt to taste
Green Chilli chopped 2 no
Chopped Garlic 2 tsp
Cumins seed 1 tsp
Hing
Oil 2 tbsp
Desi ghee 2 tsp
Chopped ginger 1 tsp
Haldi powder 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
Cumin Powder 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder
Chopped fresh Coriander

As far as I know, any kind of Basmati rice shouldn't be used while cooking Khichdi, any broken rice or other varieties are good. I just love Khichdi.

I love ordering non veg food from different restaurants. Recently saw this channel and started trying your non veg recipe because all other cooking channels add too much of masala which I dont use on daily basis. Ashok sir one thing i do is to chop the onion , chilly , ginger and tomato , sauté it in butter with hing ...and add it finally in it. It taste amazing ....
