Grazie per questo video. L'ho trovato molto utile. Vorrei solo qualche chiarimento. Che pasta usi per fare lo stampo e la controforma? Si usa qualche prodotto per fissare bene tutta la decorazione ed evitare che altri prezzi si stacchino? Scusa per le domande banali, ma ho una cornice da restaurare, ma non ho mai fatto nulla di simile. Grazie ancora!

very bad way of doing this for many reason. plaster dries and shrinks... that is why the result is sunken in and cracked. put it in mold separate by pouring into and letting dry (not pressing on top). Also air bubbles will rise to the top ending up in detail loss. You will lose detail pulling mold out because of adherence, suction, and peaks and valleys in the mold. for big pieces needed repaired on frames you can use milliput but for small thin repairs like this plaster is good....unless you can buy or make compo. if very tiny fragile pieces needing repaired use 2 part epoxy plastic being that plaster will break while just being handled in those instances. also poor in mold in all these cases.

I didn't understand anything of what you wrote apart from the fact that you understand little about restoration but you give yourself an expert tone which in the eyes of those who know how to do restoration, like me, is not credible. In the video you see the final result which is excellent and all your words vanish into nothing. A little humility is always pricey in life. Bye and have a nice day.
