@@LSniumUwU there's absolutely no way neglected pcb components like this ones could work, most of the capacitors and tansductors get useless when they are in contact with water, and what the hell is he testing with the multimeter? He is a total CLOWN, I repeat ABSOLUTELY NO WAY this is real.

This guy is amazing, he goes for a walk with a camera crew and accidentally finds laptops to restore. Its like they sprinkle old broken laps in his path. He restored a 25 year old IBM Thinkpad earlier by fixing two holes in the plastic covers and buying a new display, motherboard and keyboard and cleaning a few minor pieces. He got a couple million views so it doesn’t matter that it cost him hundreds of dollars to “restore” an out of date laptop which is nearly worthless. Good grief! He is skillful though and clever.

@@yatharthkaushik5504 Yup, he can do that. But first of all the multimeter he has is way to inaccurate for this type of electronics, second he doesn’t even read what the multimeter says and third he is just probing around randomly. Trust me, I fix MacBooks for a living.

I so want to believe you but at 7:59 where you are repairing DVD ROM is not signed whereas the same is signatured along with processor fan and other components at 10:28 . It usually is done when you send the device for servicing to the service center and they take your sign there in case you don't miss your device's component. otherwise the restoration is great.

Да не восстанавливал он ничего, нас дурят. Стоит обратить внимание в конце, когда ноутбук уже "рабочий", на цельную рамку вокруг дисплея, что-то не видно, что ее склеивали. Или на то, что он матовый, хотя он его покрывал этой фигней из баллончика. Ну а про то, как он мыл клавиатуру, я вообще молчу. Не знаю, как все остальное после мытья водой, но клавиатура эта точно никогда в жизни не заработала бы. Он просто в конце показывает этот ноутбук до издевательств.

what is the solution you use to clean the motherboard, electronic components, etc. that you dip a brush into and then wipe those components clean with? Is i alcohol or just soapy water or what? thank you!

No soup, just water. When washing the motherboard remember to Remove the Battery, CMOS, and Hold the power button for about 20-30 seconds to drain the capacitors inside the system. Take out the RAM and Any Hard Drive or Solid-State Drive. Clean the Ram Separately and do not wash the HDD or SSD. Also Remove anything else on the mother board such as the heatsink, etc. (You'll need Thermal paste to put back the Heatsink. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/htRijbGA3q2xm4k.html - 3:05 to 5:20)
