Nice job. The only thing.....it seems this car was never left abandoned. More like.... It was altered on purpose and then restored.

Great! But Testarossa name Testa Rossa, which literally means "red head" in Italian refers to the red-painted cam covers 12-cylinder engines.

Lots of modelers create these 'abandoned' cars for diaramas and such. He’s just bringing them back to original, only better. It's not staged or deceptive. A lot of work and planning goes into both processes.

Appreciate the craftsmanship, the end result looks delicious! But come on man, it couldn't be more blatantly obvious that the model was brand new from the start. Why bother even doing such a half-assed job on fake-aging a brand new model?

You get a 9.9 out of 10 for that restoration, beautiful work. I know how steady of a hand you have to do detail painting/masking. The only thing I would have done different is added some washes and some flocking.

Assume you used it as a prop for a diorama earlier? Remember seeing these setups a lot when these Bburago models were hot (late 80s, early 90s).... restoration is beautiful, much better than I would ever be able to pull off. I never liked the small looking rims - when I had plenty of parts from other models, I added the fronts and rears (plus the mirrors) from the Bburago F40. That was an awesome combo.

Even though there are lots of channels that do this type of thing this is the best

Bburago models are so noble. There's one complain about this Bburago's Tesrarossa, It has no side mirrors. Windows detailing were great. Matte black details in the model are great. However engine needs more red,

You did a great job. But you forget a very important thing. The cilinderhead must be also in red painting. Testarossa means " red head" . That means the cilinderheads were red , like the old racing cars from the 50' s. The 250 Testa Rossa racing cars. But overall a very good job, my compliments !
