So true. There’s no way he finds so many toy cars “rusty” and “covered by dirt”. Seems like this dude bought hella models cars, dug a hole and covered them in dirt for many months. Then dug em up and is “restoring them”. Can’t hate the hustle, he has 500k subscribers so he’s doing something right 👍🏼

Nice. This is what I love to see. Leveling out the paint and buffing it up makes all the difference. Some of these guys put so much work into these model car restorations and then leave the paint “unfinished” in the end. Well done and I look forward to more of your videos.

I honestly don’t know how a “model” car could even get like this and how the thought of “I should restore it” would even come to mind lol. It looks like it was sent to a holly wood prop studio to “make it look dirty”

this practice is called deorama and the idea is to take something simple like the original car and give it another aspect. in this video he just recovered the toy from the deorama

Its obvious its not actually "abandoned because it still has paint, the metal on the axles isnt rusted, you dont remove rust with soap and water etc etc

This models was sandpapered and made to look rusty so that the restoration will be easy and smooth.
