My grandmother have Jawa she was driving it till 2005, and on summer vacation we were driving to forest for mushroom hunting, now the motorcycle is hanging on the wall in the same condition, it nice to see things like this.

Когда этот чувак колол мотор, у меня сердце кровью оборвалось. И когда подшипники с молотка вгонял в половинки, это просто пипец. Главное чтобы к таким мастерам не попадать вообще. Ну неужели в интернете не посмотреть как делают эти моторы, ведь данные коленвала при сборке удары не терпят совсем. И как пишут комментарии про золотые руки, ребята вставайте тогда к нему в очередь на ремонт. Работы проделано много, но из-за не знания многих вещей, проделано за зря.

Тут подозреваю была проделана работа перед реставрацией , очень подозрительно поржавел но не прогнил! Ощущение что его состаривали специально перед съёмками

Не нужно рассматривать данный ролик как руководство по ремонту мотоцикла ЯВА. Это просто кино про ремонт и режиссёр так видит. В прошлом ролике они ИЖа Явой называли и нормально - куча восторженных отзывов. Главное, чтобы сверху всё блестело и могло один раз завестись в конце фильма.

I had a 1971 CZ 125 and I don't recall the cases being that shiny when it was brand new! As well, with all the comments about the "limited" tools at your disposal, I would bet the tools your do have are not any less sophisticated that those which built this bike in the first place. Nicely done.

Brilliant ! Brought back lot of memories. Jawa 250 cc , single cylinder was very popular in India in the 70's and 80's , and I had a blast speeding around on them !

Amazing work! thank you for documenting this. My dad used to own a 1971/72 Czech Jawa (yes, they used to sell in India) - have so many lovely memories of the bike and its idiosyncrasies (like the famous starting drill using the gear change lever that used to double as the kick-start)

Yes, they were sold in India😀 yes we Czechs know you Indians love your Jawas and later Yezdi bikes. One of our main markets in soviet times. I'd love to visit India one day.

@@Matthew-wj8cm We loved our Jawa's in India. In India, there was only a single cylinder version available as far as I know. You will still see an odd 50+ Jawas on Indian roads.

@@Matthew-wj8cm you can still find the older Jawas lovingly restored and running absolutely fine after 50 years! You should visit India and see other legendary Czech brands - Bata, Skoda, Tatra (maybe for that one you'd have to visit a military station).

Jawas were a very nice motorcycle. I once owned a 250cc single. It was very well-built and reliable. This one appears to be a 350cc vertical twin. They were built as both 250cc singles and 350cc twins and sold under two names: Jawa and Ogar, sort of like AJS and Matchless. Very good work and a nice video.

What a fabulous bike. Such brilliant condition at the start. All the panels were solid and straight (apart from minor damage to the front mudguard). Mechanicaly like new. My guess is it must have covered very few kms before it was stored. Looking forward to seeing the finished job. I love twin 2 strokes. I recently restored a "barn find" Suzuki T200 Invader from 1969. Riding it is an absolute joy. I'm sure your Jawa will also be a joy to ride.

This is a real Jawa. I remember my father also had one of these - God rest his soul - a Jawa 350 two-cylinder cost 6 months of an engineer's salary in Hungary. With this video, you helped me to remember him and when I was 6-7 years old. You did a beautiful, professional job, the restored motorbikes would have their rightful place in a museum, in the middle of the great hall.

What a great job. The trail is really amazing. BTW I spent my childhood and youth surrounded by motorcycles and my friend still has a Jawa 350cc about the same age as this restored bike. When I was 12-15 years old, we often drove two-wheeled Jawa on winding dirt roads, and I remembered how good the bike was to control on a winding dirt road. With its special features, the device is very durable even though it is a rear wheel. Czechoslovakia has had strong know-how and culture before the Iron Curtain. In Finland, many people drove Jawa to work in the forest etc. in the 50s and 60s. It's great that you restored this wonderful device for posterity to enjoy!

Nicely done. I owned a 350cc twin back in 1965, one of the nicest small bikes I ever owned. I really liked the no clutch shift mechanism. I envy you.

Nice? That was a notorious death machine in East Germany. The engine of the 350cc Jawa was a bad design because it was actually just a bored out 250cc engine. As a result, the distance between the cylinders was far too small and therefore far too little material for cooling, which created a hot spot right there, which led to abrupt piston seizures and thus to serious accidents. My father, who taught me how to ride a motorbike, almost had an accident with one of these machines. Thank God he heard the notorious high-pitched buzzing in time and was able to pull the clutch.

Я не пойму такие видео, мотоцикл долго стоял и не эксплуатировался, а все втулки смазанные и выходять легко, нет коррозии алюминия, масло не закоксовалось. И т.д.

You sir are an incredibly CLEVER man. My only suggestion would be that you invest in a torque wrench for when you are tensioning the head studs down.

Bom seria começar co restaurações de outras coisas antes de uma moto, para ir se acostumando e aprendendo. Até pela questão financeira mesmo. Compra uma coisa simples, restaura, tenta vender, compra outra coisa com o valor, restaura, vende, e assim vai subindo e aprendendo aumentando a complexidade até chegar numa moto

@@NerdTalkGameplay Assino embaixo amigo, quando tinha 18 anos comprei uma moto de leilão toda lascada pra reformar, sem conhecimento nenhum, inventei até de fazer o motor sozinho, apenas assistindo vídeos do KZfaq... Resumindo, gastei dinheiro que dava pra comprar uma moto na garagem, tive que abrir o motor várias vezes, pois não parava de aparecer problemas e passei muito tempo apé, pois a reforma demorou muito mais do que esperava, devido precisar de peças de última hora não achar na minha cidade e ter que pedir na Net. E quando vendi ela perdi muito dinheiro, só não foi tudo perdido pq aprendi muita coisa, por outro lado passei muita raiva kkkkkk

сума сошёл этот придурок только в разборе двигателя колол половинки коробки отвёртками и коленчатый вал выбивал с пазов молотком когда это делается нагреванием места соприкосновения колена так же и с подшипниками дизлайк таким людям надо ставить
