Welcome to the channel: Restorations Skills !! In this video, we found a rusty and old D4 diesel water pump at a scrap shop. I bought it and restored it, and hope it comes back to life. Diesel engines are widely used in machinery like water pumps, tractors, In this recovery video we have restored damaged old diesel engines to water pumps. After recovery, the diesel engine worked fine. The water pump also works fine. We pumped the test water and the water pumped up very well, very strong. You did great keep it up my friend and I wouldn't sandblast any engine because you will never get all the media out even if you tape it up I seen where someone said you should sandblast it's a Handy tool to have but not with some parts like engine's

I can tell you that for the most part you did fine. Please do not use a steel hammer on bearings, PERIOD. Brass or copper is best. Engine rings should be checked and file fitted inside the bore. That is it fella. Nice work repairing stuff from the scrap pile. I do the same thing most of my life. I can totally relate to your methods and hard work. Peace vf

Nice restoration. Maybe you should have a torque wrench hanging on the wall next to the rest of your tools. It's important the cylinder head and main bearing bolts are torqued to spec.

This guy really uses the ugaduga with that pneumatic air gun like he used it on everything even the rod bolts he's like how many foot pounds all of them lmao 🤣🤣🤣🤣 no assembly lube...... but you still did a great job
