Restoration Crazy 3-PHASE ac Water Pump With Large Capacity | Restore Old Electric Water Pump Capacity MAX Japan
we received a help request from a friend to repair a large-capacity 3-phase water pump. The electric pump had burnt the motorbike and could no longer function. The pump is too old. It has been seriously destroyed by time. It took us a lot of time to restore it. We have repaired the electric motor. I asked a friend to do the job. It's difficult to restore a large-capacity electric pump. It is quite heavy, its weight up to 100kg. After several days of restoration, we have completed restoring the 3-phase large capacity electric pump. Thank you everyone for watching my video. Subscribe to follow the latest videos.

I worked and lived there from 1993 to 1995 ...Before going there I was quite apprehensive and rather prejudiced, due to Vietnam War. Within a month I changed my prejudices to admiration. These people are clean, well organized, thoughtful and very hardworking. They achieve wonders with so few tools. I have great admiration for them. .

for submersible pump, any hole in the impeller is not so serious because the head of this pump is not high, maybe only its capacity slightly lower than before

Everyones commenting on the impeller. The guy is rebuilding it with hand tools only. He did what he needed to do to separate the impeller. No room for a puller in there and he tried heat. I doubt he has a welder available to repair the holes. You just have to make do to get the item working again with what you have available. It's an old cast iron pump, I doubt cavitation is a huge worry at the speed that thing will be running. I think he did a good job with the resources he had available to him.

There would be a posibility to drill and tap those holes, and subsequent grinding to close those holes. Impeller blade would still need balancing after that though.

it's a third world answer to the problem and you got to take your hat of to them for imagination and ingenuity. the armature would have been rewound at a local shop who specialises in rewinds. still i would like to know what the bubbling liquid was for, degreaser ,caustic ?

You did a great job, However I think you should close the 2 holes you drilled into the propeller, in order to pull it out using the puller. These 2 holes will cause undesirable turbulence that will reduce the performance of the pump. they could be very easily closed by epoxy. Thanks again for you clean job.

A lot of mistakes are made such as drilled the impeller, pulled the mech seal by bearing puller even though he don’t see there is luck washer this method might be damage the stationary seal. But i love it and by the time I’m sure he will be good mechanic.

That impeller it is not going to be balanced anymore due to the holes drilled in it. And that crack or cut in it that was made to get it off the shaft easier it’s going to be a big problem I would’ve gotten a new impeller that pump will fail pretty quick because it’s gonna wear them bearings out in just a matter of a short time

Wait, did you fill the holes in the impeller? I most have missed that part, if you didn’t it is going to end up vibrating something fierce and eventually it will be ruined. I suggest take her back apart and fill them possibly with a weld but watch the weight, that is where your problem Will occur.

That impeller with holes, I agree, she’ll vibrate to beat the band! Not to mention the debris that will hand up. It appeared to me it was a residential setting, where did he get 3 phase electric? I was taught to press bearings in and if you had to use a hammer use a plastic or leather dead blow hammer and never hit directly on the bearing but a wooden or rubber block. Never did see him do continuity check on the windings or armature. Poor kid needs a visit from the snap-on tool man.
