I found this electric demolition hammer from Japan recycle shop. It was made in Japan by Makita, model Makita HM0811. It was very old and rusty. I have an idea to restore it like new. I'm very happy to receive your feedback, advice, suggestions to improve myself.

Most of the film is screw pulling and tightening...I think this should be revised.

overall, job well done! you can improve by investing in some tools required for this kind of work, like bearing presser and puller.... i see you are doing just fine, without them, but it will help you a lot in long term... thanks for the video!

Nice to see someone actually taking apart the switch and refurbishing it. Not too many know that such switches can be disassembled and cleaned and made to function perfect again...

It's a good thing it won't be in working service, right? The corrosion left on the motor is enough to take it out of commercial service. Proof in point: it missed it's cutting target about a couple of inches 😂 😂
