Us non schmucks really enjoy watching what your doing and all the hard work you do and tips n shortcuts that effectively work !!! Thanks. Because I realize (like they don't seem to), you don't have to do these videos. I'm sure you have better things to do. LIKE Restoring your bus's n beetle's in peace !!

I wonder what that guys KZfaq channel looks like showcasing the work he does? Oh wait he probably doesn’t have a channel and if he does he isn’t filming his work because if he was he wouldn’t have time to talk shit about other people. The keyboard warriors love to talk because anyone who actually does this work knows how hard it is and respects anyone who is willing to diy. I always appreciate your dude because you actually get the projects done. It’s so much better to get these cars running and driving and enjoying them instead of it sitting in your yard. Much respect. I learn a lot about how to get shit done and motivated to try it myself. I’m intimidated by paint but there is enough people on here that I think o can give it a try on my bug. Cool thing is no matter what happens it will look better then what’s on there now. Jaaa😁 So I can’t really mess it up and I think I will have fun and learn a lot.

I am learning a whole bunch from you. Pay no attention to the negative comments. If I do not learn from people like you, that is willing to share what you know, I wouldn't be able to have an older car to fix it. I do it as a hobby, and drive them for a year or 2 and sell it (i.e. loose money, but I know I was able to put something back on the road). Please keep on making these videos.

I've watched all these videos from when you first started and have enjoyed the journey. You do GREAT work within the context of what your goal is with the bus and budget. Gettin' closer!

Since the 80s, I've always used a 2qt pressure pot for car painting. It's nice just to have the gun and no paint in your hand. You can choke it down to almost an airless too for getting in those tight spots! Devilbiss JGA-502. Cheers!

Mike.....you've got a hell of a job ahead of you. I've done 4 of these old buses and I'd rather take a beating than do another one. Just DON'T SELL the thing when you're done. I'd sure like to have one of the buses I've done now......and I'm too damn old to do another. Like the shirt....goes with the old VDub.....LOL.

Rambus was from Denver Colorado and they undergoated it with a tar based goop! There was places that popped off easy and under it it still shined. Other places that stuff was stuck and was tary . There it was a b-tch to scrape it off. The tar type undergoat is good stuff. and I have been working on Rambus for over 35 years????and counting!
