@@SlavicUnionGaming There are all types of collectors. Most working examples were taken as trophies which means they may or may not have ever seen combat. And most battlefield artifacts are not in usable condition. The fact that this one is both a battlefield artifact and seeming working condition makes it quite rare and highly desirable for the right collector.
@C.Double.

@@khyronkravshera7774 No... no actual collector would want anything to do with this. Only someone who knows nothing about actual firearms, or collectiing would even suggest that. That is incredible workmanship! I think TIG welding would be better- less chance of warping. That was impressive, sir! Thank you for taking the time to show us!

A really cool weapon and a truly incredible restoration, couldn't have imagined saving any of it. Can't understand why people would prefer these things remain in their original destroyed condition, rather than gaining a new existence to be appreciated and respected for their original historic value for decades to come. This man's effort honors the previous owner and anyone getting to see and handle them in such a faithfully original condition would surely feel more connected to history. Such a talent is a special gift to the world.

Great job restoring sir! You took a German Luger P-08 Pistol, that was in "terrible" shape, and definitely a "non-shooter",and you spoke some magic words, waved your magic wand, and now you have a decent shooter P-08. Many thanks for your video on a handgun known by millions, the Luger P-08.

This pistol type exists since 1908 like the name says. It was used from police and military since then for almost 40 years till the end of WW2. It also lived through 4 types of goverment systems in Germany: 1. Monarchy until 1918 2. Democracy until 1933 3. Dictatorship until 1945 4. Democracy since 1949
