I am Japanese. I was riding a CB250N 30 years ago. I remembered that it was a very good bike and it was fun to ride. It was a fun video that allowed me to know the structure of this engine again. I want to hear the sound of this engine.

Wow !this channel really changes my perspective on many old things, i have been a Honda motorcycle guy for many years and although none of my bikes ever got to looking like the featured motor did it really shows me what i should had been doing all these years usually for me i chose to doa detail with the motor onthe bike using a Dremel tool and although it was a improvement overall this video shows how much better it is to break the motor down completely ! Luckily i do have one more Honda Motorcycle to do and it’s a smaller one than you did plus it being over 50 years old it has been always stored indoors with very little corrosion or damage to it i do plan on doing a complete restoration of the entire bike as this one is a special one to me as it was purchased by my Father almost brand new and it was in our garage my entire life

It's really not that complicated; it's just basic physics principles stacked one on top of another. This is pre-steampunk-era technology with a veneer of modern material science slapped over top of it. Internal combustion engines were invented using tools no more complicated than an abacus.

Couple of comments from a US motorcycle mechanic- 1) you should be torquing many of those smaller bolts as well 2) there should be no reason to ever put sealant on WITH a fresh gasket 3) How much MEASUREMENT of the parts was done? Crank bearing fit... camshaft journal wear ... piston ring land size.. ring gap, etc? Looks like it was just hosed-off and thrown together with a few new parts, willy-nilly. But great video! I enjoyed it!

When I am confronted by anything mechanical, it brings out the negative in me. It’s totally bewildering, unappealing and I leave such things alone. So this was just awesome - I’m in total awe of what that bloke did with that engine. How he remembered what went where is mind blowing. I so wish I had that type of intelligence.
