Sadly most people today have forgotten about it, I’m talking about bread baking. Bread baking, not cake making, is a hands on slow, relaxing, almost meditative doing. The kneading, which can be done by hand or machine, is extremely good for reducing frustration and anger if you use your hands. Why do you think our female ancestors made so much bread? It was the only way they could release it by kneading, hitting and wrenching that dough into bread. The end result of this bread-therapy is a house filled with the most amazing smell, you feel happy, the family are impressed and you can go to bed with a smile on your face. I am not kidding. I have been studying bread baking and psychology and it is beneficial to reduce stress, anxiety and frustration. Most men that starts with bread baking continue doing it because they find great pleasure in making something so down to earth and relaxing. In difficult times, we have always returned to the basics because we find comfort in it and that is why women have been baking in all times, often doing it together with other women, out of necessity but also because it was good for them and felt homey and safe. Ps: always start with white bread if you are not used to using yeast. It is most often successful.

I have boots with leather soles and similar ones with vibram soles, and while the vibrams are nice for grip and comfort, I agree that they look cheap. Leather soles can sometimes be more comfortable, so Ill give up the grip for stiffness

I agree. This was totally unnecessary. I never would have replaced the original camellias. The shoes needed a good cleaning.
