After 5 years waiting for restoration, finally the Avios Tropical Spitfire MkVb is back in the air. I've been waiting a long time for this!
She lost the nose after throwing a prop blade in flight, back in 2019.
Restored to her former looks, and converted to digital DJI in the process. I also replaced the old Henge pan servo with a butter smooth Check Six servo from Motionsic - I normally choose a BAG for this kind of install, but I would have had to chop up the 3d printed pilot, so I settled for just swapping the servo.
