Күн бұрынToday, we start the process of restoring a 1969 Honda CT90 ( Trail 90 ).
My father bought this new in 1969 for 349 dollars when he was a teenager. This is about 1/10th the price of a new Trail125 from Honda before taxes and fees. This is a video of looking it over, finding obvious issues, and giving it a quick clean so I can get it running/moving before giving it a full detail and cleanup.

Were you able to find the shutoff washer? I've got a 69 and it is a 1 year only model and I haven't found a carb kit or shut off that is correct.

Never found one. Best source for things I have found is DrATV if you Google him. I'm doing the newer gen carburetor swap now. Video update will be soon

I thought you were going to restore it. You have really just washed it down and tidied up.

*part 1 in the title* (2&3 on the channel) Series starts as seeing how viable it is for restoration, getting it running, then eventually, with more time, it will be restored. Also, restoration can be just getting it running, or full nut and bolt thing. It's all what the bike needs/is financially viable for a bike worth 2k.
