Restoring an Old Wood Nightstand

In todays video I restore this old wood nightstand that I found on FB marketplace for only $40! I strip the entire piece back to raw wood, fix the drawers, and add some new brass hardware. Let me know in the comments what you think of the final result! Also I'm curious to know, how much would you sell this piece for?

Great job! Dark walnut on Maple is one of my favorite combinations. I like how it is a neutral brown and doesn't lean red, orange, or yellow.

Thank you so much!! I completely agree I really wanted to minimize the amount of red tones in the wood and I think the stain helped with achieving that result

A Little Too Rural for Me and I'm Still not sure about those Knobs but It is Nicely Restored. Finding the Solution for the Drawers was Fun to watch.

Very well done restoration, and video. I also like the simple and effective repairs. I lean toward stains with a hint of red, but that’s just my preference. 😊

Nice. I have a piece of that period and it has little pieces of wood as drawer stoppers.

I actually tried off camera to add some tiny pieces of wood at first but I did not like how they made the drawer glide so I removed them! Ive definitely encountered a lot of vintage furniture that uses wood as well but in this application it did not work

Не, реставрация выглядит,не завершенной.Торцы ящиков и в нутри ящиков нужно хотя бы покрыть морилкой.А так очень неприглядный вид. Да и ручки на ящиках можно было б заменить, фурнитура в вашей работе играет большую роль.
