Today we take some crusty headlamps from a 1994 BMW E36 and perform a proper headlight restoration. This video shows the start to finish process of how to take your faded and yellowing headlights and bring them back to a factory fresh finish. There are so many different gimmicks online that claim to permanently restore headlights, but wet sanding is the only real way to remove the failing film. The only step that can vary is what route of protection you choose to apply. PPF is the best option for longevity. These headlamps will be receiving PPF as soon as the new indicators and fogs arrive.
