Never dull works better for polishing, I have that same stuff you used on the cap but not as shiny. Great vid.

Nice Job , but I like always the original Color and Patina , no rust is good and you can preserve the color with some clear laquer .

Your tank is going to flash rust in an hour after getting all the rust out. How did you stop it from flash rusting??

What liquid did you use with the rocks . Did you use a rust kill to stop flash rust when you finished ?

He used rust remover. If I would do something like this I think i would prepare a large quantity of nickel solution (or at least copper) to electroplate the inside of it.

I have used a concrete Mixer (Brazilian called "betoneira") to shake the fuel tank with stones and water for rust removal

for more easy peeled off the paint is u need to make sure the solution always wet and rubbed it off while it still wet

I usually put bout full tank of evaporust and let sit bout 3 days. Then rinse with boiling water a few times and dry it with air compressor.
