Looks good mate. On my datsun 1200 ute i cut out the rear quarter panel where the 2 panels over lap each other. With you getting new quarter panels i think they come as one piece i cant remember. Done my Datsun 21 years ago and it still looks good today. Just sits in my shed now since 2008. I start it up and move it out the front every now and then but i always getting people knocking on my door asking to sell it. They are starting to fetch good dollars now. Great little cars. One tip is after it is all painted to put as much fish oil into all the inside panels as possible. Always keep adding fish oil to it every 6 months to a year. Great video.

thanks for the tip yeah you can get the well side panels for the short body unfortunately I have the long one which you cant get it for they are definitely fetching decent money have had some decent offers on it already next will be a14 swap to bring her to life a little more

From the day I bought it to on the road 2 years Due to only being able to work on it weekends and after hours lockdown took up a big chunk of time too

Hi mate the datsun is a 1982 and total with purchase was $8,000.00 NZD

parts are very hard to come by most where through ebay and second hand stuff here in New Zealand

@@martinpik1 it seems not to have brake booster,but some of them models Nissan /Datsun came with for smooth braking.
