The writing on the knife is "Zanjan". Name of the Iranian city famed for its knives.

Great restoration, I read in the comments that the knife was made in Zanjan, but what kind of knife is it? Does it have some kind of name, like the Jambiya? With regards. Henric.

This is a throwing knife, the handle is not needed by and large.
