In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Thanks To Allah and may Allah bless for those who came with this idea of restoring the national library, i really admire for this group including mom zainab hassan, these are the people who can change our country to a better place , transforming this oral society into a reader is a wonderful and a life changer initiative . I have really liked this transformation into a culture of reading. As we know the Muslim ummah is ummah of iqra , and our somali soceity they can barely read, and i want to suggest this group to conduct a research on why somali's dont want to read, is the root cause is the unavailablity of the books or we are missing the calture of reading, as we know europeans they have the calture of reading and they were raised from their childhood so it became like an a diction. So why are we missing this a diction of reading? Lastly i want to thank the mom and her team to this wonderful idea .
