EDIT: I later decided to weld up the holes in the tank, Linked video at the end of this one showing that process

I still have mixed feelings about using epoxy so I may revisit this when the car is further along and see about doing something different

No problem, I wish there was more research available on that epoxy submerged in fuel. I think I will end up welding a patch on the outside of the tank before reinstalling it

Any clue what the size/thread is on those eight bolts securing the fuel sending unit to the tank? I’ve misplaced mine after doing a full tank resto.

I used M4-0.7 10mm long bolts

@@PracticallyStock thank you sir, gonna get ahold of some and button it back up. If all goes well, its gonna be onto teardown and rust delete.

No problem. Best of luck, I found rust in mine from front to back. Definitely got in over my head but still making progress
