RESTORING ZILLER Is a short documentary film & tells the story of a four months long conservation project on an iconic and one of the oldest building in Athens. The building of German Archeological Institute (DAI)in the city center was architectural work of legendary architect Ernst Ziller in 1888 and needed an asap renovation. Especially the artistically hand painted ceilings & walls
The filmmaker Nikos Chrisikakis had the chance to become a part of this special conservation Team , follow them and film the whole process .
