Have you ever wondered how to repair and restore a vintage, antique broken axe tool? Have you ever wondered how to build a homemade forge? In this video I show how to repair a cracked axe head by cutting open the crack, welding it, grinding it clean, cutting and sharpening a new edge, and heat treating using a homemade forge. I also of course added a new handle to make a renewed usable restored tool.
