Simon, It was fun seeing the results of this firing. And a shout out for you for teaching us. I learn a lot from your explanations after a firing, about glazes and kiln temperatures and etc., thank you. The pots were amazing. many of them I was fortunate enough to have watched you make. I think that the raw fired pieces were as nice as the ones that were bisqued first. Perhaps even nicer. thank you again for sharing.

It's hard to believe they are the same pots from that blackened kiln, lovely results.

Fantastic! it was great to see such an experienced potter still experimenting and reaping the benefits of all the experimentation e.g. the field glaze is now working great.

Beautiful work Simon! I'm glad the once-firing worked out for you. I was curious if you did anything different with how you fired the kiln because of things being raw glazed? I figured you might have to go a little slower the first 800 degrees or so to let any moisture, carbon, gasses burn out??

Glad the mouse 🐭 firing worked out ! Especially like the flattened bottles , and flowery mug , Wanted to see a few tiny paw prints ... so I'm a total beginner and know very little of anything about glazing .. I wanted to add glaze to some un bisqued pots but was told I could only slip and under glaze ...?

Thank you for showing the firing results. You make beautiful pieces. I just wonder if the poor mause made it out of the kiln before the firing. She thought for sure that she has found the best mouse home in the hole world.

I love the results! Amazing! I would love to have all those for myself. Do you mind tell me a simple transparent glaze recipe? I’m struggling with a commercial one then I got some feldspar, whiting, China clay, can I make a recipe with those?
