The sound engineer will mix the sound for the acoustics it's being played in. It would probably sound a lot better live. It sounds tinny and low-fi when you just take the mix directly.

yeah but they could easily record each instrument separately and then mix it afterwards to make it sound good. If its not a live stream ofcourse

That's gonna be an expensive recording. More channels = more cost.

Nowadays you just plug the mix into a pc with usb and record as many tracks as you want. Did it many times

dynatwenty my previous band opened a show for them once and Aaran was kind enough to let me use his rig for our set, they where really sound when I did talk to them, though I was shy as fuck haha

They're really nice guys. A friend of mine introduced me, and I'm not a person that cares much about meeting musicians in person just because I'm a fan of their music. Nevertheless they just took me into their tour bus and shared their beers with us. They're really down to earth and we had a nice conversation about art and whether it's necessary, possible or arrogant to love your own music.

AMO a banda, mas ao vivo o vocalista soa péssimo ( em FOUR WALLS é a melhor interpretação dele ), sinceramente ele precisa urgente cuidar de sua voz, pois do jeito que ele ta cantando da pra ver que ele força ao extremo as cordas vocais e logo já não vai conseguir cantar direto. Em NEW WORLD TORTURE no estúdio, ele soa como COREY TAYLOR na época do IOWA, mas ao vivo é horrível.
