Bought these for my kids. They are CONSTANTLY losing the battery covers for any other FRS radio. These sound great, range far enough for us, and the battery lasts a long time.

Did you have a link to order the programming cable & a link to download the software? I see the links to order the radios, but not the chart mentioned or the cable/software

When you get to that page, click on Support. Then go to FIRMWARE/SOFTWARE and download the rb619 software.

Thanks for this! I was thinking of getting them to use as a baby monitor.. do you think it would work for that?

In all seriousness, I do understand what you're saying. You're asking if you could keep it plugged into the USBC while having VOX enabled to detect the voice of your baby, which would then transmit to anybody in the area who wanted to hear it (or even didn't want to). I guess in theory it would work, but it seems like buying a baby monitor would just be the easier thing to do. I do wish you the best. Take care

I was also thinking (just me here, who doesn't have kids), I would probably want to have my montiors receiving on a frequency that uses hoping or dect and isn't just open. It's possible you'll hear FRS conversations and then who knows, maybe you won't hear your baby over there conversation (i'd say unlikely, if everyone is abiding by the power limits). Oh this video is old. I'm tryign to remember much about this. Does not work in windows; please help me out here. Did the driver not install / doesn't show in device manager / software won't download?

I figured it out the cable i ordered didnt work i made my own with a boefang cord an a type c an now works on my windows 11
