Spent like 10 minutes max on it when I was a kid. Completed the goal and forgot about it. 20 years later I learn that it's one of the worst challenges ever in the history of THPS, like the toy helicopter bombing mission in Vice City lol

ahhh man this game is such a throwback. used to wake up in the morning as a kid and play this and Underground 1 all day. These games influenced my life as a child a lot, from the music I listened to and how I dressed haha. Glad to see people still are passionate about these games.

My favorite part of this mod is Windows saying that one of the plugins is a trojan (boombox)

Windows Defender uses Machine Learning in their database now, we tried getting in contact with Microsoft to resolve the issue, but the only solution is paying for a security certificate which needs to be renovated every year for up to 1000 dollars, the thing we suspect being detected as a trojan is the packaging system for soundtracks, it's a legacy feature we kept due to some users wanting it, worst case scenario we'll completely remove it.

Epic but pleeeease can we have the local multiplayer fixed + have the classic mode stages from THUG2 added to classic mode of this game?? or just more stages to classic mode in general PLEEASE🙏🙏 for me Thats one of the best parts of original THAW is being able to play splitscreen with the homies in Local Co-Op. Online is cool and all but you can only play trick attack so many times before you get bored. (reason why I completely dropped THUGPRO in favor of this game because it actually has story mode + unlockables and stuff to do other than just online and free skate) also the weird bug of the elbow pads being huge if you switch between the normal ones is still in the game (unable to get the smaller sized one on your CAS and all pads are just jumbo sized)

genuine non-bitchy question, what stopped you guys from taking all the THUG 1 & 2 maps and porting them over at once? I wouldn't have imagined they'd be hard to port over being in the same engine and with thug pro launching with both full map sets?

They are NOT the same engine.

THUG1/2 THAW do not share the same engine, on the surface, yes, internally no, the map format itself is different to suit the new "dynamic" zone system for story mode, project 8 xbox original maps are the easiest compared to everything else since that is infact the same engine as thaw, but aside from that we've mainly been focused on trying to get atleast one map from each game in each update, so theres more variety

Abandonware, you can get it very easily, literally a command in both the THPSX and 10K servers, if you think it's not worth literally just using !thaw in a discord server, this is not for you. IF you really HATE playing old games, you can try out bAstimc's THPSPRO mod for THPS1+2.
