Her song is very personal. The lyrics "we weren't alike" may probably not pertain to her and the fans, but to her and other ITZY members. That's why fans/haters should stop comparing her to the rest of the girls, especially when it comes to dancing. Lia has her own strength in the group and she should be appreciated on that.

THANK YOU for reacting to lia's full solo song. it's such a well written and gorgeous song, especially knowing how lia gets so much hate and have a lot of doubts about herself. my favourite part is how the song came back in strong and abruptly right after the bridge, just feels so full of life, just like a flower blooming

Ngl i cried several times in relation to this song- (1) when i watched the lyric video, (2) when i heard lia wrote the lyrics cos it really hit deep, (3) when i heard the full song 😢 hopefully our girl Lia takes all the time she needs to blossom. When you did the whole comeback reaction I was sad that you skipped her. Though I thought it is very unlikely of you to not have seen it come out, I am sorry for doubting you T-T I wasn't Itzy fan when I started getting into kpop ( though to me they always came off as the best performers of their generation ). So when they had their unfortunate hate train, I got curious. Are they as bad vocalists as a lot of people say? Spefically Lia. And I was surprised, they are not as bad as people say. They may be not the best ones, but there are amongst the most stable and always try to improve and deliver. It really feels unfair that Lia got so much hate for only one performance ( I never seen any other one where she was sounding bad, she always manage or do good enough or very good ). It was personnally my favorite solo (though I loved all) because not only musically but the lyrics are very touching in a lot of aspects to me. I think it is very sweet of you that you often try to bring some love to groups that got hate train for their music through your platform. Take of you and thank you for the surprises!

Thanks for this very thoughtful comment for our girl Lia! All the girls have always worked hard and never deserved the hate made up by (as Thina described it in her previous ITZY video) 13 year olds on the internet. And I was just like you too when I discovered ITZY. I heard about all the hate at first but actually took the time and watched/listened to them with an open mind and fell in love instantly!! (Lia caught my attention at first too with her voice and I saw zero issues with her dancing). Istg if more kpop stans learned to think for themselves rather than repeat what a TikTok/reel/short user said, we'd all have world peace by now!

@@tukshin3379 oooh thank you so much for the reply. Unfortunately it is even grown ups :/ I am not saying that everyone should like everything they put out. But a lot of times it lacks logic (if you used to like their older songs like Icy, Wannabe, Not shy, Dalla dalla it is weird to dislike so much Cake) or it is just too much negativity ( if you don't like some songs and you see a mass comments on that for preference matters just find something else. It is easy to see how much it affects them , why add more comments? ). Same I try to stay open minded to any group. And mostly don't believe fully bad comments, because I would have missed a lot. Some will catch my interest for just one song some for more. But unfortunately people tends to forgot that, eventhough there is a screen in front of them, at the end of the day they are talking to human. I always have biases towards Yeji a lot. But I really like all the members. And I feel sad that Lia couldn't take part of this comeback. Songs like Born to be would have been killer with her voice for my personal taste. Hopefully she will comeback well!
