Considering he was the Fleet Admiral during the Great Pirate Era and the one who had to rein in Garp, it's actually more surprising he still has hair.

Now you see why Garp and Sengoku are actually best friends along with Tsuru. Sengoku's personality is actually very much like Garp's, but he was the Fleet Admiral so he had to take his job seriously to maintain a good Navy system for the world essentially. No without that position, he's chilling out as an inspector, which has almost no responsibilities.

You can also see how akainu act differently after he become fleet admiral. No more snobbish cockyness, no condescending smile, just grumpy all the time

Is it really such a surprise that Sengoku is so chill now? Dude's basically been a tangled mess of nerves the whole time he was a fleet admiral. It's no wonder Garp turned down the position, lol. 😆

Yes he is carefree because he has no responsibilities anymore. He’s free to do as he wishes so now that we see his true persona, he’s alot like Garp. Everytime we see Sengoku either in a flashback or pre timeskip, he was always serious because he had to commit to his work and be an actual competent marine and Fleet Admiral. Now that he resigned as Fleet Admiral and is in a position that has WAAAAAY less responsibilities, he can just vibe and relax. Also, his hair is theorized to just have been dyed black to probably maintain a threatening persona since there is no way his hair was able to stay black while Garp and Tsuru (who are the same age as him and were rookies together) have grey hair even though they were FAR LESS stressed out in their lives.

Yeah me too, i mean Garp, Sengoku, and Tsuru they all coming together as rookies and becomes a legendary marines from Roger's era, if garp and tsuru already have white hair 2 years ago... He must be dyed his hair then 😂 it's impossible they're aging differently

Oda notes for film Z says that it was actually black because of the stress of being the fleet admiral or something .. so yeah it naturally turned white after timeskip ..

Sengoku did understand the gravity of his position of Fleet Admiral which is why he was always so serious, but now that he's retired he can relax and act like his normal self. People assume he just dyed his hair black to make himself appear younger and thus command more respect.

Thing about the dice, is about trying to show Luffy is "fated", like how Hawkins can't get a 0% calculation on death on people. 2 safe rolls for Luffy to recover, 3rd roll to attack , but he is ready to run away..
